A wood composite mixer is an industrial machine used to blend wood fibers (or flour) with plastics, resins, and additives to produce a uniform mixture before forming processes like extrusion or pressing.
What it does
The mixer ensures:
- Even distribution of wood particles
- Proper coating of fibers with polymer (PE, PP, PVC)
- Homogeneous mixing of additives (color, stabilizers, lubricants)
This step is critical—poor mixing leads to weak products and surface defects.
Process Flow (Simplified)
